Covid-19 appointment procedures
You will receive an email confirming your appointment. The email provides a link to the patient portal which allows you to complete required forms prior to your appointment. (If you don’t receive an email please let us know so we can check your email address).
We require these forms filled prior to your appointment date. This will include a Covid-19 screening.
If after completing the forms you develop symptoms of Covid-19 or are tested positive, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, we kindly ask you to let us know as soon as possible so we can rearrange your appointment.
On the day of your appointment, we ask that you do not arrive too early for your appointment to avoid prolonged periods of time in the waiting room with other patients.
On arrival, please use the buzzer on the side door marked ‘new reception’. You will be checked in remotely.
On entry we ask that you sanitise your hands, check in using the QR code if you have the NHS Covid app and then take a seat in the waiting room.
We will require you to wear a mask on arrival and whilst you are in the practice.
We operate a one-way system at the practice which will be pointed out to you by our staff members.
Following your appointment, a member of staff will escort you to reception where you will be checked out to ensure minimum contact with other patients.
We understand that some of this may be strange, we thank you for your understanding and being patient throughout this time.
Please note that any cancellation within a 72 hour period will be charged for, unless we can re-fill the appointment.
